The Future EMR
Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) have not been fully adopted in the US in large part because they are hard to use. SHIP has become known for presenting some wild ideas in this area and we are now sponsoring one of the projects in the nationwide Health 2.0 Design Challenge  (read all about this exciting challenge on the Health 2.0 Website).
 
The specific challenge is to rethink how physicians can document their notes in an EMR by using publicly available blog or wiki software to create a longitudinal record.
